Essential Disney Packing List
Without further delay, I’ll share the Disney packing list of frequently neglected things:
Portable charger for portable devices
I can’t leave home without a portable cellphone charger. It has been a lifesaver whenever I travel, especially during Disney World.
The most important thing you don’t want to happen is for your smartphone’s battery to go out while photographing Cinderella’s Castle or looking up wait times to ride.
Disney is now selling “FuelRod” portable batteries at kiosks in the parks; however, at $30, they’re not an excellent deal for anything.
It’s better to bring yourself a mobile charger that will recharge your phone at least twice at a fraction of the cost.
Water bottle
This is an essential item for anyone visiting Disney World. Why spend $3.50 buying water bottles in the parks when you could carry them at home and refill them at no cost?
I suggest bringing a filtered water bottle to take along because you can refill it at the water fountains in the park. This will help you get rid of the weird taste of Florida water.
Florida waters are full of sulfur, giving it a peculiar taste. However, some people don’t notice that it is a problem for me!
Rain poncho
It rains continuously in Orlando. All. The. Time. Particularly during the summer and spring months.
The most jolly location on Earth will not be as happy with your clothing getting wet, and the air conditioner is on full blast in the rides. You’ll find at least a brief afternoon shower even on the perfect day.
Make sure you bring a light raincoat! It will keep you dry and avoid paying too much to purchase a cape at the parks.
These shawls are perfect for water rides such as Splash Mountain if you aren’t looking to get submerged!
Pro tip: Don’t get the cheap, disposable ponchos. They’re bad for the environment and will stick to your sweaty arms and legs like cling film in Florida’s humidity.
Waterproof or water-resistant backpack
Its 20L waterproof backpack can be ideal for your Disney World excursion. With the unpredictable rain and all the water-based rides, you’ll need a bag to keep your valuables safe without fearing they will get wet.
This backpack is a fantastic option due to its lightweight and durability. It also can fold into a small pouch when you’re not using it, which means it takes little space when packing.
It’s also available in many exciting colors, making it easy to identify your pals among the crowd!
Waterproof pouch for your valuables
If you don’t need a completely waterproof backpack, Consider carrying a small pouch to keep valuables such as cameras, phones or wallets, keys, and so on.
Blister bandages
You’re likely to have comfy walking shoes in the Disney checklist. However, one commonly forgotten thing can be Blister bandages.
Walking at least 10+ miles per day in Disney World is possible!
If you end up with a blister, place a bandage on it, and you do not have to feel anything!
Handheld fan
Using a portable fan is essential if you’re going to Disney World during the summer! It can be hot and sweaty in Orlando, with an average temperature of over 90 degrees F (32 Celsius) during summer.
A small, handheld fan can keep you cool while waiting in line or strolling around parks.
This handheld fan is small and compact, yet it creates an enjoyable breeze. I’ve encountered many opportunities to use this device, not only in Disney World!
Sunscreen
If you’re planning to visit Disney World in the summer months, which are warmer and sunnier, be sure to include sunscreen on your list of things to pack!
There’s a reason that they refer to Florida as “the Sunshine State. It’s crucial to apply sunscreen regularly while visiting Disney World, especially in the heat of the day, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
I love this SPF40 sunblock from Supergoop! for my face due to its speedy drying and not greasy. It is also water-resistant!
Hand sanitizer
Before COVID was discovered, Disney World was a theme park that was a place for germs and people. The most important thing you do not want to do is be sick while there.
Make sure you keep the germs out by putting a hand sanitizer that is travel-size in your purse for everyday use! Please keep it in your bag and use it throughout the day, particularly after riding rides or touching surfaces in public!
They come with a small loop that you can attach to your backpack for quick access.
Picnic blanket
A lot of people prefer to secure a prime location for parades and fireworks that take place at night or on Disney World. You’ll probably need to arrive early to ensure an ideal viewing location.
There aren’t many spots to sit down for events like fireworks so that most people will stand or lie at the bottom. Bring a light picnic blanket to sit down and comfortably enjoy the show.
The blanket is light and folds to fit into a small storage bag when not in use. It. It can easily fit in your backpack and be carried to the park.
Glow Accessories
If you have children (even those over 21), you will likely seek out the glow stick and other lights-up toys and accessories when the sun sets!
During the parades and other evening celebrations, vendors sell lights and glow sticks at a very high price.
To save cash, stock up on inexpensive glow sticks before your trip to ensure that you don’t need to open your wallet when you get to the park!
