Our nearest neighbour and hugely popular for holidays, short breaks, second homes and an increasing number of British ex-pats. A large country with massively varying landscapes, superb cities, coasts on an ocean, a sea and a Channel, two mountain ranges and the worlds biggest wine industry. France is the most easily accessible country from the UK with numerous services by air and sea as well as the Channel Tunnel.

For holidaymakers there is a vast choice of locations and experiences. The superb scenery of the Dordogne, rolling countryside in Normandy, the rugged coastline of Brittany, glamorous resorts like Cannes, Nice and Biarritz and the beauty of Provence. France also offers historical sights such as the Palace of Versailles, the D-Day landing beaches, numerous spectacular Chateaux and the Eiffel Tower. For the young, and the young at heart, there is Disneyland Paris and Futuroscope near Poitiers and for the more adventurous the mountains of the Alps and the Pyrenees to be walked and skiied.
